Apple has approved Google's social networking for app for the iPhone.
The Facebook-bating network unveiled recently by the search engine giant has made its first foray into the mobile arena today when it quietly appeared on the iTunes App Store.
Thre free app has all the same functionality as its desktop-bound sibling featuring Circles, Stream and Huddle which do all the same stuff as Facebook has been doing for years.
Oddly, there's no iPad version of the app as yet and no indication if one is in the pipeline.
And if you're not one of the 12 people with an invite, or more accurately one of the six people who haven't been kicked out yet for breaking the rules, having the iPhone App won't do you much good.
Ironically, there are no reviews as yet on the iTunes listing.
We'll let you know what we think of it if we're ever allowed to have a play.
