Vodafone leaks Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1

Vodafone has ousted on film the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, in a promotional video ahead of the Android ‘Honeycomb’ 3 tablet actually going on sale.

The Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 was launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, with the larger 10.1-inch screen that complimented the original 7-inch version which first made its public appearance at Berlin’s IFA consumer electronics show, in September of 2010.

Vodafone announced at MWC they would be carrying the device, when the tablet arrives later on in the year – only a third Galaxy tab was unveiled a month later, with a new screen size of 8.9-inches and a thinner case at 8.6mm.

The news of another addition to the Samsung Galaxy tablet series also brought with it a redesign to the original 10.1 version, with the same svelte case as the 8.9 model – reduced from 10.9mm.

Vodafone subsequently dropped the first large screen tablet, known as 10.1v, replacing it with the new thinner version, which is now due to arrive on August 4th with a 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and the Samsung Touchwiz UI.

Check out the video below from Vodafone that highlights the features of the Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1, before it arrives next month.
