Orange has now taken stock of the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo Android midrange handset, on contracts starting from £30 a month.
Sony Ericsson’s Xperia neo was launched at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, along with the same 'Xperia pro' mobile with a Qwerty keyboard – although both were overshadowed by the Xperia ‘PlayStation’ Play handset’s launch at the event.
The Xperia neo arrives as a midrange phone, sitting just below the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and ray – only with a lower cost, but is still equipped with features found in the company’s higher-end mobiles.
Neo tips up ergonomically designed to fit in the hand with a 3.7-inch LED-backlit LCD capacitive touch screen, an 8 megapixel camera and a built-in miniHDMI connector whilst running from Android ‘Gingerbread 2.3.
The handset has the Sony reality display with mobile BRAVIA engine technology, which offers a crystal clear image along with the Exmor R mobile sensor that enables the capture of bright pictures and HD videos in a low light.
Orange’s offering of the Sony Ericsson Xperia neo is on price plans that start at £30 a month, on contracts such as the Dolphin 30 with 500 minutes, an unlimited text message allowance and an internet bundle.
One Mobile Ring caught up with Sony Ericsson at MWC this year, where we published a hands-on walkthrough in pictures from the launch event here.
