Amazon Unwittingly Triggers Motorola Droid Bionic Launch Speculations

Online retailer Amazon Inc. has leaked some new pictures of Motorola’s Droid Bionic along with its docks to hint that the mobile phone will soon be made available for sale on its website.

Amazon Inc (opens in new tab). is running around pictures of the mobile phone along with the set of docks that will be made available with Motorola’s forthcoming mobile handset, on its website.

The phone which was announced in the month of January this year is expected to be released in August, and the release of pictures by its official web retailer clearly indicates at the approaching release date.

The new smartphone boasts of Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM. The display screen of the mobile phone is 4.3 inch in size while the internal storage memory is 16 GB. The handset includes an 8 mega pixel camera along with a VGA front facing camera for video conferencing. The handset comes with a desktop as well as a vehicle navigation dock and has 3 USB ports and one HDMI port.

The phone which was earlier said to be powered by Google’s Android OS 2.2 is expected to be upgraded to Android 2.3 before the release date. In another attempt to spark further Motorola Droid Bionic rumours, a photo shopped image of the smartphone with a price tag was posted on Droid Does landing page.
