Cisco Systems has been rated as the top company among the businesses using Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for their cloud computing technology.
A new report released by market and telecommunication research firm, Infonetics Research has revealed that San Jose, California-based networking giant is the best among all companies using SaaS for their cloud computing business.
The ranking given by the research firm is a part of Worldwide Web Security SaaS Provider Scorecard that analyses company on the basis of SaaS providers.
“The difference between 1st and 5th place in our vendor matrix comes down to small variations in brand presence, security profile, strategy, capabilities, and financial stability.” Jeff Wilson, major analyst at the firm stated as he continued to inform that the first five positions have been taken by Cisco, McAfee, Symantec, Websense, and zScaler respectively.
Details furnished by the report states that Cisco bagged the top spot because of its great line up of products with great features such as Cisco Routers while McAfee and Symantec are both at second position with nearly same points but across different categories. Websense and zScaler, are two organisations with maximum potential to stay in race in the future, however, both lack support of a brand name to them.
