Good news for all those who were eagerly waiting for the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as the retail outfit Dixons is reportedly going to offer the device a day ahead of its scheduled official launch.
According to the reports, the brand new 10.1 inch tablet device is going to be available on the retail giant from 5pm on August 3rd.
Dixons will be offering the Wi-Fi only version of the device for an amount of £399, and it will be holding an exclusive right over the same for a month. Currys will be offering the same later on.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is going to be the latest offering from the Korean electronics giant and it will be coming with a skinny 8.6 mm thick enclosure that weighs no more than 565 grams, a 1GHz dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 chip, Android 3.1 Honeycomb and a lot of other high-end specs and features.
Just like the name suggests, the product is a 10.1 tablet with its LCD screen giving you pictures at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is equipped with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi built-in, front facing 2MP and Bluetooth 3.0. In regards to the main camera, there has been a major change. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be coming with a 3 MP camera rather than 8 MP.
