Web retailer Amazon Inc suspended the sale of the Nintendo 3DS console only to resume again shorty after, following an issue raise by customers.
According to tech website PC Mag, on Monday, Amazon suspended the sale of the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS, the handheld video gaming console after several customers posted complaints about the device. However, the console was back on sale soon after.
"The Amazon offer of the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS has been reinstated. We received customer feedback that there may be an inventory issue with the Cosmo Black Nintendo 3DS. The product itself was not under review,” a company spokesperson revealed. He also added that the issue had been resolved effectively.
After suspension, the gaming console was available for purchase from third party websites though not directly from Amazon. At present, the Nintendo 3DS is available in both Black and Blue colours from the website at a price of $248.
The Nintendo 3DS was launched in the month of March this year. The portable gaming console has three dimensional technology without the need for 3D glasses. The company, however, has already issued a warning to parents not to allow children under the age of seven to play games on the 3D mode as it may harm their vision.
