Google has revamped its mobile search results page to accommodate tablet devices, the company announced.
The company said in a blog post that it has simplified the layout of search results on Google.com for tablet devices along with increasing the size of page content like text and buttons.
Google also said that it had enhanced the touch targets to make it much easier and faster for tablet users to interact with search results, in both portrait and landscape mode.
“The search button located below the search box provides quick access to specific types of results like Images, Videos, Places, Shopping and more. Just tap to open the search menu and select an option to see results in one category,” Google explained.
The Android maker has also revamped the Image search results, bringing enlarged image previews, continuous scroll and faster loading for image thumbnails.
The revamped search results page will be available to Apple iPad and tablets running Android 3.1 or higher. The refresh will be rolled out in a few days in 36 languages.
The company has been focusing on improving its offerings for tablet devices since the first wave of Android tablets to make an impression on customers.
