Mobile phone network Orange is now carrying the LG Optimus 3D handset, on a £40 a month contract.
One part of Everything Everywhere is the first mobile phone network to be retailing the world's very first 3D mobile phone, although the other part of the umbrella company T-Mobile has listed the handset as 'Coming Soon'.
Orange is stocking the LG Optimus 3D handset with 900 minutes, an unlimited text message bundle, a 750MB data allowance and a further 3GB to be used via BT Openzone WIFI.
The LG Optimus 3D is able to show 3D media without the need for any special glasses on its 4.3-inch WVGA touch screen display, whilst being powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor, with the ability to capture 3D pictures and video from the dual on-board 5 megapixel camera.
Video can be captured in high definition in 720p 3D, or in full 1080p HD in 2D which can be stored on 8GB of internal memory.
One Mobile Ring recently caught up with LG at an event in London, where we managed to capture the world's first 3D video hands-on walkthrough of the world's first 3D mobile phone – which can be seen here.
