Enterprise software and hardware developer company Oracle Corporation is ready to launch a new recruitment drive with an aim to add around 1,700 more to its workforce in Europe.
According to The Financial Times, Redwood Shores, California-based Oracle Corp. that already has a workforce of more than 108,000 people around the world has announced its plans to recruit hundreds of people across Europe to meet the technology demand in the continent.
Interestingly, Oracle has revealed that it will use social networking and micro blogging websites Facebook and Twitter respectively to reach out to the masses and recruit the best tech experts.
"This is an exciting time for Oracle. Hiring 1,700 new colleagues will help to further fuel growth across all lines of our EMEA business and reflects the demand which exists for our end-to-end provision of hardware and software which is designed and engineered to work together," vice president of Oracle for Middle east and Africa region, Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban stated.
Oracle is ready to hire people for all positions and levels ranging across all of its operations, especially growing industry for cloud computing. Oracle currently boasts of 22,000 employee base in Europe and addition of more 1,700 will hike the numbers by eight percent.
