A video apparently showing some Windows Phone designs from the Finnish mobile giant Nokia has been leaked on YouTube. The footage of the handsets, which look kind of similar to the company’s Symbian powered C5-03, seems as though it is genuine, but may be a promo video showing an earlier concept phone to investors or partners.
Nokia has already unveiled three Windows Phone designs since it joined forces with Microsoft - two of them were revealed way back in February, while the third one is the more recent Sea Ray, which was "accidentally" exposed to the public by Nokia CEO Stephen Elop back in June.
Nokia shocked almost the entire industry when it officially announced its decision to get friendly with the Redmond, Washington-based tech giant and adopt the Windows Phone platform. Though what was even more shocking was the company’s decision to abandon the Symbian OS platform once and for all.
In recent years, Nokia, once the shining star in the smartphone market, has undergone a series of massive setbacks, following the rise of the Apple's iPhone and Google’s Android platform. Also, the company’s ageing Symbian OS was turning out to be more of a headache for the company due to its sheer inability to counter the new found pwnage of the iPhone and Android devices over the smartphone market.
