Dell Dishes Out New Inspiron, Vostro Laptops

Leading computer manufacturer Dell Inc. on Thursday launched three new laptops aimed at people who believe in high end technology in an ultra slim and compact cover.

According to PC World, Dell Inc. took covers off its two new offerings: Inspiron 13z, Inspiron 14z and Vostro V131 with high end processors, and long lasting battery life among other additions.

According to the details provided by the company, Inspiron 14z, which is a consumer oriented line up boasts of Sandy Bridge Core i3 or i5, a RAM of 4 or 8 GB (as per customer choice) and weighs approximately 2.3 kg. It has a display screen of 14-inch with 1366 x 768 screen resolution, two USB 3.0, one HDMI socket, one USB 2.0 port along with an SD card reader. The laptop comes with a DVD player, an in-built 1 mega pixel web cam, and a range of options for storage space. The laptop is powered by Windows 7 and costs no more than $600.

The Vostro V131 targets enterprise customers and boasts of a 13.3-inch display screen, resolution similar to 14z, Intel Celeron 847 processor, RAM up to 2 GB, storage space up to 320 GB, and accessories along with Interface similar to that of 14z. It is powered by Windows 7 and costs no more than $500.

The 13z variant has same features as 14z but the display screen is 13.3-inch in size.
