On-line mobile phone retailer Clove has confirmed it is going to retail the upcoming keyboard-based Motorola Fire at the end of next month, SIM free and unlocked for £216.
The new Motorola Fire complements the other Fire handset announced recently by Moto, although the Fire XT531 is solely a touch screen device and this 'Fire' model has a physical keyboard attached.
Motorola's Fire is set to arrive with a 2.8-inch 240x320 capacitive touch screen, with a 600MHz processor and a 3 megapixel camera, a full Qwerty keyboard and running from the Android 'Gingerbread' 2.3 OS.
The handset has a similar look and feel to the Motorola Pro mobile phone, only with less of a higher-end array of features.
The Motorola Pro has a 3.1-inch 320x480 display, a 1GHz CPU and a 5MP camera, with 8GB of storage and a full Qwerty keyboard too.
Clove has opened up the pre-ordering of the Motorola Fire, where the Moto Pro is still on pre-order too with a price tag of £420. One Mobile Ring suspects Motorola Fire will be aimed more at the consumer, with the Pro being more of a business device.
