After the much talked about acquisition of Motorola Mobility Inc. by Google, the company continues to grab the spotlight as images of Motorola’s highly anticipated Droid HD leaked on the web.
Droid HD is the successor of Droid in the United States and Motorola Milestone in the United Kingdom. The leaked pictures reveal that the phone boasts of a 4.5 inch touch display screen with qHD resolution.
The smartphone is believed to be powered by Google’s latest Android 2.3 operating system also known as Gingerbread and may boast of 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and two cameras, one of them is expected to be eight mega pixel along with an LED flash. The phone consists of a usual pair of microUSB/HDMI ports and side slots for SIM and microSD cards also.
According to Engadget, leaked images of Motorola’s smartphone, Droid HD has raised eyebrows in the tech market as the experts and critics believe that Droid HD may overshadow the highly publicised and much awaited Motorola Bionic.
One of the most highlighted feature of Droid HD is its super thin design. Experts believe that the phone is anywhere between 8.5 and 9mm which is similar to Samsung Galaxy II. [Image courtesy engadget.com]
