One of the top-most open source solution providers in the world Red Hat Inc. has unveiled the beta version of the Red Hat Virtualisation 3.0, the company announced.
With this new offering, the company has finally stepped into the process of delivering what it claims to be the “next generation version of the company’s end to end virtualisation solution.
The new release brings along with it an array of new capabilities based on the company’s high end, market leading performance and scalability, aimed at both desktop and server virtualisation purposes, Red Hat claims.
"Red Hat and BMC have a longstanding partnership that has extended into the cloud and virtualisation arenas," Herb VanHook, the vice president, CTO Office at BMC said in a statement.
"We are working closely with Red Hat to integrate BMC Cloud and Virtualisation Management solutions and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualisation so that our customers can leverage the compelling benefits of our joint technologies,” he added.
Navin Thadani, senior director, Virtualisation Business at Red Hat, on the other hand expressed his opinion by saying that Red Hat Enterprise Virtualisation 3.0 is likely to include in it a handful of exciting features capable of handling customers’ each and every requirements.
