Japanese gaming giant Nintendo is planning to release a gold remote for its Wii gaming console as a part of a new Zelda gaming bundle.
The new ‘blingy’ remote will come with the $69.99 bundle which will also contain the Zelda: Skyward Sword game and additional CD featuring theme songs that cover the gaming franchise’s entire history.
However, if the users decide to forgo the limited edition remote, the game and the music CD will cost them $49.99.
The golden controller, which has been designed by Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, comes with the Zelda 25th anniversary logo on it.
The controller, which will be launched along with the bundle in November when Zelda completes 25 years, was first unveiled during this year’s E3 gaming conference by Nintendo. At that time, the company had failed to give a price and launch date for the controller.
The news has got mixed reactions from customers as some have chosen to wait for Nintendo to launch the new Wii U in April while others are waiting the launch of the new controller and Zelda game with great anticipation.
The Wii U, which is expected to the launch in Japan by the end of this year, will be dished out in the US and European markets in the first quarter of 2012.
