Britsh police arrest two more Anonymous suspects

Two British men have been arrested as police in the UK, assisted by the FBI, continue their efforts to track down members of WikiLeaks-loving 'hacktivist' collective Anonymous in connection with a spate of recent high-profile attacks.

One man was nabbed in Mexborough, South Yorkshire, and a second in Warminster, Wiltshire. Both were charged with offences under the Computer Misuse Act. Computer equipment was confiscated by police for them to have a fiddle with.

Police said the arrests came in relation to denial-of-service attacks carried out by headless hacking band Anonymous and its LulzSec offshoot. The arrested pair are thought to have shared the online identity of 'Kayla', active in both groups.

Christopher Jan Weatherhed, 20, and Ashley Rhodes, 26 will appear at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on September 7th. Two other suspected Anonymites are to appear alongside them.

Meanwhile,14 further suspected Anons appeared in court in San Jose, California yesterday. All pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy and computer hacking.
