Sky releases news app for Windows Phone 7

24-hour satellite news giant Sky News has introduced a free application for Microsoft Windows Phone 7 handsets, which brings with it all the channel and website has to offer.

The Sky News app has been developed in partnership with Microsoft, which combines all of Sky News’ rich content only with the design of Windows Phone.

The app allows WP7 users to watch live Sky News on their mobile, whilst staying up to date with breaking national and international news and send stories directly from their phone to the newsroom.

The key features of the application include: the latest news feeds in both video and text, access to live TV, with video and radio bulletins, own report submissions, with Facebook and Twitter article sharing.

Existing Sky News mobile applications have been downloaded by over 4 million people, on iPhone, Android and iPad devices.
