UK mobile phone operator Orange has put HTC’s Radar, which will be powered by Windows Phone 7 Mango, on its ‘Coming Soon’ page.
Orange is the only carrier right now that has revealed that it plans to release a Windows Phone Mango device. Others will surely follow suit but it is not known when. Orange has failed to mention when the device will be launched or how it is going to be priced.
“Get on the map with the HTC Radar. This stylish phone is crafted from premium materials and is literally brimming with features,” Orange said on its coming soon page (opens in new tab).
HTC Radar was unveiled along with HTC Titan in the first week of September and is one of the first smartphone devices to come pre-loaded with Microsoft’s highly awaited Windows Phone 7.5 platform, code named Mango.
The device will come with a decent 3.8 inch touch screen, a 1 Ghz processor and a 5MP camera, designed to cater to the mid-ranged market. HTC Radar weighs 137 grams and features a battery capable of 10 hours of talk time and 20 days of stand-by time.
