The Winklevoss twins have starred in an ad for pistachio nuts which sees them making fun of their rival Mark Zuckerberg.
The twins have long maintained that Mark Zuckerberg, their former friend at Harvard, had stolen their idea for the Harvard ConnetU and turned it into the world’s largest social networking platform Facebook, which is worth more than $80 billion.
After a lengthy and a highly public legal battle, Facebook was forced to give the twins $65 million in settlement. However, it was not enough for the twins who dragged Zuckerberg and Facebook to the court a second time, claiming that they should get more money as they believed Facebook misrepresented the value of Facebook at the time of settlement.
After a judge turned down their request, the twins are back with an ad which pokes fun at the co-founder and CEO of Facebook.
In the ad, one of the twins, who is wearing a green tie, picks up a nut and cracks it. The second twin then says “Hey, that's a good idea.. Cracking it like that...Could be huge”. Then the first twin asks “Think someone will steal it?” after which both the twins ask in unison "Who’d do that?” clearly pointing towards Zuckerberg.
