Insider Reports Say Google Planning to Design Social News Reader

Google Inc. is reportedly planning to develop a new social news reader, according to recent reports.

The revelation was made by a leading digerati, named Robert Scoble, in his Google Plus account. According to Scoble, the search engine giant is currently preparing to design an entirely new social news reader.

“I heard from someone working with Google that Google is working on a Flipboard competitor for both Android and iPad,” Scoble posted, according to an AllThingsD report.

“My source says that the versions he’s seen so far are mind-blowing good,” he added.

It is worth noting that Scoble is not the only one to have received the news that Google is planning to design social and news reader. Apparently, there are multiple sources within the tech community who are of the opinion that Google is indeed focused on the development and testings of the new product - known as Propeller as of now.

According to the AllThingsD report, there are sources in the tech community who say that Propeller happens to be “one of a number of new socially focused announcements” that Google is currently preparing to roll out in the coming days.
