OnLive has launched its brand new on-demand video game service at the 2011 Eurogamer Expo, hosted in London.
This new service, according to the company, includes a wide range of video games for the UK’s gaming-community. The company also states that all latest, high-end games will be made available for fans on-demand, regardless of the platform or its performance capabilities.
The games will be offered over an active Internet connection; the methodology will be no more complicated than that of streaming videos.
The company is also offering a free give-away of its OnLive Game System to all attendees of the EuroGamer Expo.
OnLive is providing the service with backing from telecom giant BT.
"This is a fantastic new service for the UK,” said managing director, BT Retail's Customer Service, Warren Buckley, as reportedby Techradar.
"The three months free PlayPack subscription is a great offer for BT broadband customers and there are no strings attached. It's not part of a contract and we're waiving usage allowances until the New Year. We just want to give our customers the chance to try it,” he added.
