SanDisk 64GB microSD card now available to buy

Popular makers of flash memory SanDisk has started selling the largest ever microSD card available to a handset, in the SanDisk Mobile Ulta 64GB microSDXC memory card, with a price attached of $219.99, or around £140.

SanDisk isn’t the first to break ground on the highest storage microSD card size on a mobile phone, as Kingmax was first to announce a 64GB variant back in May this year – but that product has still yet to became available to purchase.

The SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC memory card offers fast performance with transfer rates of 30MB/sec, along with massive storage possibilities for photos, apps and also full 1920x1080 HD and 1280x720 video.

This 64GB microSD card is especially geared up for high-performance smartphones and superphones, where the included SD adapter allows the quick PC-to-microSD transferal of files.

Bundled with the device is the SanDisk Media Manager software for organising and the transfer of photos, videos and music too.

However, SanDisk Mobile Ulta 64GB microSDXC memory card might not be supported by all phones – especially the more budget array of handsets, although One Mobile Ring believes the latest flagship mobiles should be able to handle the huge storage size.

On-line retailer Clove is now selling the SanDisk 64GB microSDXC card for just £114 - click here (opens in new tab) for more details.
