It’s hardly been a few days since he left TechCrunch and Michael Arrington is already back in the scene with his new blog, named Uncrunched.
Arrington, who founded TechCrunch some six years back, had to leave the firm after he had launched a new venture capital fund worth $20 million, aimed at investing on tech startups. TechCrunch’s terms and conditions for its staff, which prohibits individuals to make investment in companies they write about, made it impossible for Arrington to continue his services in the blog.
Arrington’s new blog ‘Uncrunched’, hosted by WordPress will be his personal blog. He announced the new blog through a post in his Twitter profile, with a link that directed users to the blog. However, there is not much to read about in the blog as of now, other than an introductory post titled ‘Here I am’ (opens in new tab), and with no content whatsoever. He did post another message later on, but with a different title though.
Also, the prominent tech blogger chose to stick with the basic-most commenting system. What Arrington wants to cover through this new blog is still uncertain, however, fans, followers as well as many industry experts are hoping to see him uncovering some of the dark secrets of Silicon Valley.
