Bing is launching a brand new feature which will help people plan and organise their nights out, Microsoft has announced.
The new event planning feature, to be known as Bing Events, is believed to be the latest in a series of desperate attempt by the company to counter the brutal domination of Google in the global search market.
This is the first time a major search engine has provided a fully comprehensive events listing with all the details needed to ensure a fun night out,” reads a Microsoft statement, according to this Telegraph report.
The new search feature, as claimed by the company, will be cover more than 90,000 events in over 10,000 venues throughout at least 2,450 different locations in the UK.
Microsoft also stated that every time a user types in a music concert, or even the name of a certain venue, with the word “events’ tailing it, they will instantly receive a detailed timetable of events.
The events will be classified on the basis of its scheduled date as well as the event-category. In addition, more assistance will be provided to users with detailed information on maps, surrounding restaurants, and even parking details, the company claims.
