Toshiba has unveiled the latest addition into its tablet computer portfolio - The Thrive 7. The company also announced the device will be hitting store shelves in the U.S sometime during the coming Christmas season.
The Thrive features an impressive 7 inch high definition LED backlit display with a maximum resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels. It can also includes Toshiba's Adaptive Display and Resolution+3 video enhancement technologies. In addition, the device will be also feature Toshiba and SRS Labs’ exclusive sound enhancement technology.
The device will powered by a sophisticated dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, capable of providing users with really high-end graphics. It will also come equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixel on the rear, and a 2 megapixel on the front.
The Thrive 7 will be made available in two different variants - the first with 16 GB storage capacity; the other with 32 GB hard drive space.
Other standard connectivity features include miniUSB, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi as well as a microHDMI slot. The device is compatible with Adobe Flash, the company stated.
