Man Attacks 13-Year Old Boy After Losing in Online Game Call of Duty:Black Ops

A 46-year old father of three attacked a 13-year old boy after the boy ‘killed’ him in the online game Call of Duty:Black Ops.

Mark Bradford, whose lawyers claim he has some psychological problems, became enraged after a 13-year old boy he was competing with ‘killed’ him and won. The man claims the boy persistently called him names.

The man located the boy’s house and attacked him, leaving him scratched and red in the neck. Bradford will be sentenced next month.

“I was just playing. We’d had a bit of a joke and then he stormed in and grabbed me. I didn’t know what was going on,” said the victim, whose name has been withheld.

Bradford claimed what he did was done in a ‘moment of madness’ and the boy’s name calling ticked him off.

"I'd been playing the whole day and he was baiting me and baiting me and just would not shut up. He went on and on and I just lost it. I hold my hands up, I lost the plot. In a moment of madness I went round to his house. I didn't know what I was going to do,” said Bradford, who is unemployed.

"It wasn't malice. I just grabbed him. I've seen him since and apologised. We've played online too. He's actually a decent kid," he added, as reported (opens in new tab) by the Daily Mail.
