New BlackBerry Torch 9810 handset now free on Three

3G mobile phone network Three is now selling the latest version of the slider BlackBerry Torch 9810 phone, on contracts starting from a monthly £30 fee and with the option of a no-limits whatsoever mobile broadband package.

Research In Motion

unveiled the BlackBerry Torch 9810 in early August this year, as the update to their first ever slider 3.2-inch touch screen Torch 9800 Qwerty keyboard based handset from 2010. The new version arrives with a faster 1.2GHz processor, the new BlackBerry 7 OS, 8GB of internal storage and 720p HD video capture abilities.

Three is carrying the BlackBerry Torch 9810 on price plans as low as £30 a month, on the Text 500 contract with 500 minutes, a 5,000 text message bundle and a 1GB data allowance – which can now be increased to a truly unlimited mobile broadband bundle, for an additional £3 monthly cost.

The handset is also around on the famed ‘One Plan', with 2,000 minutes, 5,000 minutes to any Three based phone numbers, a 5,000 text message allowance and the no limits whatsoever data offering for £37 a month.

One Mobile Ring gained access to the BlackBerry 9810 some weeks before being officially launched, where we published a hands-on walkthrough of its features here. We also attended the actual launch event of the new Torch 9810, for a hands-on walkthrough video of the mobile phone here.
