Cupertino based Apple Inc. is going to make some big announcement about the forthcoming iPhone today, and if we are to believe the words from Norman Winarksy -- the co-founder and board member of Siri, the announcement by the tech giant is likely to shed light into how the company is going to redefine the way humans interact with machines.
Winarksy made the revelation during an interview with the tech site 9to5Mac, and he went on to detailing how the combination of his company’s software and the iPhone could make some revolutionary changes in the existing technologies.
The iPhone maker acquired Siri last year, in April, with the vision of exploiting its technologies in coming up with a new and innovative voice-controlled “Assistant” in the forthcoming iPhone.
“Apple’s ‘mainstreaming’ Artificial Intelligence in the form of a Virtual Personal Assistant is a groundbreaking event. I’d go so far as to say it is a World-Changing event,” Winarksy stated during the interview.
“If the rumors are true, Apple will enable millions upon millions of people to interact with machines with natural language,” he added.
