AMNews: iPhone 4S Availability in UK, BT OpenReach Broadband Plans, Xbox 720 Seen in 'Reel Steel'

All the major UK networks have announced that they will have the iPhone 4S on their network with all of them saying that the handset will arrive soon, rather than on the 14th of October.

BT Openreach plans to release a new broadband connection next year which would give download speeds of up to 300 MBs per second. The company said that the fibre optics based connection, which will be launched in spring next year will be initially available to only select few customers.

As a protest measure against a newly proposed rule to be implemented in Italy, Wikipedia said that they hid the Italian edition of online encyclopedia. The proposed controversial rule requires any website to publish corrections within 48 hours on content found objectionable without any review.
