Steve Jobs known for his excellent marketing abilities and understanding of technology died at the age of 56 early today morning.
The innovator will not only be remembered for his contribution to the technology world but, for his quotes as well.
During the Commencement speech at Stanford University in 2005 he said, "Stay hungry, stay foolish." This quote gained a lot of popularity and would be remembered for decades to come. During the same speech he also said, "Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."
In an interview with Fortune in 2008 he said, "We don't get a chance to do that many things, and everyone should be really excellent. Because this is our life."
On his return to Apple Steve Jobs said, “My position coming back to Apple was that our industry was in a coma. It reminded me of Detroit in the '70s, when American cars were boats on wheels”, during an interview with Fortune in 2000.
Steve Jobs’ understanding of customer needs was one of his best capabilities. In 1989, during an interview with INC magazine he stated, "You can't just ask the customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new."
