HTC on Thursday announced that its latest smart phone from the Sensation series , the XL, will have the latest Beats audio technology and it will be made available for sale from this November all over Europe and Asia.
The CEO of HTC, Peter Chou, during a launch event in London, said that the company is putting in efforts to improve how music on a mobile phone sounds and this latest device is a part of the same effort.
The latest smart phone XL, according to HTC, has been particularly optimised for an excellent audio performance.
Beats Electronics is a headphones company in U.S. that was co-founded by rapper producer Dr. Dre. HTC in August said that it invested US$300 million in this company.
The CEO further commented that "People are eager to have a new era of mobile audio," and further on the efforts of the company he mentioned that "We really want something to fix that degradation of the digital music."
HTC’s first smart phone with Beat technology was the Sensation XE and the latest XL is the follow up of the same. However, the specifications of the XL are not all that similar to the XE.
