Nintendo's Blue Wii Coming to Stores in November

Japanese video games giant Nintendo has announced that it will be launching a blue coloured Wii console in November.

The company said that it plans to launch a bundle, which will include the blue Wii and the Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games game on November 18 reports siliconrepublic.

The bundle will feature the new blue Wii console, which sits horizontally instead of vertically and does not support GameCube software or accessories. Nintendo also announced that it has other Wii bundles in the pipeline, which will be released this autumn. The company failed to mention whether the console will have blue controllers. Many believe that the company will do so.

Perhaps the new blue Wii will be Nintendo’s flagship device for the Christmas season as it has decided to launch the Wii U in early 2012. Before this, the company has released Wii consoles in white, black and red.
