Noon News: Vodafone Lambasts Three Over 4G, Symbian Belle on Nokia 603, Qualcomm Snapdragon S4

UK wireless carrier Vodafone has lashed out against rival Three as regulator Ofcom delays the auction of 4G wireless spectrum by 6 months. Ofcom decided to delay the auction of 4G wireless network by 6 months, claiming that it needed more time to consider the consultations submitted to it and make the rules accordingly, so that market competition is not affected.

Google and Samsung have delayed the launch of the upcoming Nexus Prime and the unveiling of Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of respect for deceased Apple CEO and innovator Steve Jobs. US wireless carrier AT&T has revealed that Apple’s newly unveiled iPhone 4S device has had the most successful pre-order launch. The company revealed that it had received more than 200,000 pre-orders for the device within 12 hours of making it available for pre-order.

Qualcomm has finally released more details about its top-end Snapdragon S4 family, which is based on the Krait architecture that we briefly covered back in February this year when it was officially announced at Mobile World Congress.
