Huawei set to launch 3D mobile phone and tablet, early November

Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Huawei has invited One Mobile Ring to the UK launch event for two upcoming products – the 3D Vision mobile phone and MediaPad tablet.

These duo of devices were previously announced in August and June, although no release dates had been confirmed until now, but this media invite draws the actual on-sale date one step closer.

The press conference is chaired by Huawei UK & Ireland Executive Vice President Mark Mitchinson and Chief Marketing Officer Victor Xu, with the 2011 Brit-Award winning artist Plan B performing which could indicate a tie-up with content on the tablet device.

Early June, Huawei unveiled the MediaPad, which was then the first 7-inch screen based dual-core CPU tablet with the Android ‘Honeycomb’ 3.2 OS.

In August the budget mobile phone maker made public news of a new flagship handset, where the 3.7-inch display Vision arrives with a 3D user interface – in a similar vein to LG’s Optimus 3D phone and the HTC Evo 3D phone.

OMR will keep you informed of arrival dates and costs of the two devices, with images and video content from the event next month.
