Nvidia 3D Vision 2 Technology Unveiled

Graphic card maker Nvidia has dished out new 3D Vision 2 technology which hopes to take PC 3D gaming to an entirely new level.

The company has rolled out two new offerings in the new 3D product line as of now and plans to introduce more as the year draws to a close.

The Nvidia 3D Vision 2 comprises of new 3D glasses and a new viewing technology which comes with bright and colourful 3D viewing experience.

The Nvidia 3D Vision 2 glasses, according to c|net (opens in new tab) are 20% lighter than the original Nvidia 3D glasses. The glasses are wide, giving a larger viewing area and are designed to block light from outside. The 3D glasses are also extremely comfortable and can be worn with a headset and mic. These glasses don't make anyone look dorky like most of the other 3D glasses.

Meanwhile, the Nvidia 3D LightBoost technology is capable of rendering images which are twice as bright. The images are also very colourful and sharp. The first monitor to feature the technology is the Asus VG278H, which comes with a 27-inch LED full HD screen. The screen features 3D HDMI 1.4 input, and dual-link DVI input for full HD gaming.
