Barely a day to pass by before the much awaited Ice Cream Sandwich is finally dished out by the technology giant Google, but rumours and speculations regarding the different features included in this next version of the Android OS continues to flood the tech streets.
Word on the streets is that amongst a wide range of new and upgraded features that are going to accompany the Android Ice Cream Sandwich, there is a brand new photo editing tool too. Though not confirmed yet, seems like the mentioned photo editing tool(s) is going to come as a native feature in the platform.
As of now, Android users have to solely rely upon third party applications such as Photoshop, Color Touch Effects or Picplz etc. in order to enhance their photos. Most of these apps usually also come up with the ability to enable the user to share their photos immediately on social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter.
The possibilities of these new feature in the mobile OS platform was first reported by the tech site AndroidPolice.
“Google is working on building a photo editor into the Android Gallery. That much we're certain about - we've got the icons for it,” read the AndroidPolice report.
