Research In Motion leaks two unannounced phones on own website

Canadian mobile phone manufacturer RIM has inadvertently made public a pair of upcoming BlackBerry handsets, from their own website.

Research In Motion’s own developers site, known as ‘Inside BlackBerry Developers Blog (opens in new tab)’, housed the information relating to these yet to be launched mobile phones.

The blog posting relates to screen resolutions on the smartphone simulators for upcoming BlackBerry 7 smartphones, but goes on to mention two new devices – the BlackBerry 9380 and 9790, where no details have been released by RIM as to these devices.

These are reportedly the BlackBerry Curve Touch 9380, codenamed 'Orlando' and the Bold 9790, codename 'Bellagio'.

RIM’s developers Blog lists the upcoming BlackBerry 9380 as having a 3.2-inch 480 x 360 pixels touch screen, with a 189 ppi – which will be the first touch screen Curve handset, in the Canadian mobile phone maker’s arsenal.

The same webpage also notes the BlackBerry 9790 as having a 2.44-inch 480 x 360 screen, with a ppi of 245. This appears to be more of a smaller Bold device, than the latest BlackBerry 9900 handset and a return to previous form, with an almost a Curve phone design.
