Specs for Nokia 710 Powered by Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS Briefly Shown on Nokia's Website

In what seems to be an accidental-leak-on-purpose, Nokia has disclosed some of the details concerning a key forthcoming product.

The handset in question is the Nokia 710 - a smartphone powered by the new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. The company is said to have high hopes for these WP powered devices to return to the days when the company enjoyed superpower status in the mobile phone industry.

Microsoft is also counting on Nokia to bring its relatively low-performing Windows Phone platform back to life and take it from there to counter the dominance of the iPhone and Android devices in the global smartphone arena.

The leaked details of the new phone first appeared on Nokia's website. However, the details were taken down shortly after they were posted.

From what some people did see before the details were removed, the phone will feature a 3.7 inch 800 x 480p display, one 5 mp camera with the ability to record HD videos, 1.4 GHz single core processor as well as other standard specs seen on most WP7 phones.
