Late News: Google May Finance Yahoo Buyout, Steve Jobs Memorial, Google Voice App

Word on the streets is that the Internet search giant Google Inc. is in talks with a pair of private equity firms with the vision of helping them out financially to close an acquisition-deal with the company's rival Yahoo! Inc.

Software giant Microsoft's official YouTube account was hacked yesterday, with the infiltrator removing the videos uploaded on the account. The Microsoft YouTube account had its original content replaced with advertising videos which were later removed.

Google Inc. has purchased a new, big office complex in its home town Mountain View, according to new reports. With this, the company has become the largest-property purchaser in Silicon Valley for the running year. The search giant reportedly purchased the 240,000 square foot office for near about $100 million.

Google has re-launched the Google Voice app on the App Store, after the company was forced to pull the app from the platform amidst some faults. The company removed the app from the App Store after it found that the app was crashing when users were attempting to sign-in.

Apple posted the video of the Steve Jobs memorial service, which the company held for its employees. The event, which was closed for the public, saw senior Apple employees and the rest of the staff remember the Apple co-founder and former CEO for his contribution to the company and the technology industry in general.
