Acer Inc.’s UK divisions chief Bobby Watkins has finally decided to part ways with the company- but not before having a series of massively disappointing quarters which saw a rather painful decline in the sales of the company.
According to reports, Neil Marshall, a veteran in the company, is going to take Watkin’s position as the new chief of Acer’s UK division. Marshall, as of now, was working as the director of Acer’s global sales and marketing transformation wings.
Watkins began his journey with the company as the business manager for its consumer division. It is then that he established himself as a key member of Acer’s UK management division, and subsequently was promoted to UK general manager, and then as group managing director for the UK branch.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Acer and I have learnt enormously from a fantastic team. I wish all at Acer the best fortunes for their future business activity,” Watkins said in a statement, expressing his happiness to have worked with the company, according to a report (opens in new tab) by the PCR-Online.
