Online and high street retailer Phones4U has put the just announced Nokia Lumia 800 on preorder on tariffs starting from £26 per month with the phone being thrown in for free.
The smartphone (opens in new tab) is available on Orange and Vodafone (no other network has announced it for now). The former offers the phone with 400 minutes, 3000 texts and 250MB data allowance for £26 on a two year contract; that's a total cost of ownership of £624.
An additional £5 ups the number of allocated minutes to 600, bumps the data allowance to 1GB and includes a free Nokia accessory pack worth £49.95 (which includes a bluetooth handset and a soft silicon case).
Orange is also including two "swapables" which are free treats that can be changed every 30 days. These are basically subscriptions (from a pack of 12) that include the likes of Deezer Mobile, Sky Sports, The Times or two free games each month.
Nokia announced the new Lumia 800, formerly known as the Sea Ray, this morning at the Nokia World 2011 event. The device resembles the Nokia N9 but comes with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm S2 SoC, 512MB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen and Windows Phone Mango.
