Carphone Warehouse Giving Free £50 Gift Card With Nokia Lumia 800

Carphone Warehouse is giving away £50 Gift cards from Debenhams (via their subsidiary when purchasing the Nokia Lumia 800 with a two year contract either from Orange, Talk Mobile, T-Mobile or Vodafone; the monthly minimum cost of the contract being £30 per month on Talk Mobile.

That equates (opens in new tab) to a total cost of ownership of £720 with 750 minutes, 1500 texts and 1GB data. The phone was unveiled yesterday and is powered by a Qualcomm S2 Snapdragon SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, making it the fastest Windows Phone 7 handset on the market.

The rest of the specification reads as follows: a 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 512MB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, an eight megapixel camera with HD recording, a 1450mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a USB port.

As for software, there's Microsoft Windows Phone Mango with all the goodies that it brings - Multitasking, Office Mobile, Xbox Live integration, Bing Maps, Internet Explorer 9 etc.

As expected, Nokia has bundled a number of its own applications to differentiate itself from the rest of the competition; there's Nokia Drive, Nokia Music, Nokia Store, Nokia Maps and a contacts app.
