iPhone 4 Rival Alert : HTC Sensation XL Now Available From £411

If you are after a large screen all rounder Android-based handset, you might want to have a look at the HTC Sensation XL which can be had from Dialaphone on an O2 contract with a total cost of ownership of £411.

The deal (opens in new tab) requires a bit of leg work but comes with a number of advantages. Firstly, there's a saving of nearly £120 for just a few minutes worth of work. Secondly, you will get free minutes, texts and Wi-Fi with the phone and finally, you will be able to pay for the handset over a two year period.

The initial cost of the handset is £99 with the tariff cost standing at £25.50 per month. You will need to remove the 1GB web quota add-on, which costs £10 per month and downgrade after one year to £10.50.

Users will get unlimited Wi-Fi for the whole duration of the contract, 100 minutes and 500 texts for the first 12 months and then 50 minutes and 250 texts for the last 12 months.

The Sensation XL uses a single core Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, has a 4.7-inch WVGA touchscreen, 768MB RAM, 16GB onboard storage, an eight megapixel camera with F2.2 lens, dual LED flash, and BSI sensor, a front facing 1.3-megapixel camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Wi-Fi, DLNA and Beats Audio technology.
