Virgin Media offers free Spotify Premium for six months on mobile phones

One Mobile Ring exclusively broke a story at the start of October about the popular music streaming service Spotify will be free to access on the Virgin Mobile phones, where VM has just announced that very offering.

Virgin Media has launched a range of new deals, which include the digital music service Spotify. These bundles are integrating Spotify as a part of the offer, allowing their customers to have access to millions of singles and albums.

This will be through the exclusive Spotify app on Virgin Media’s mobile devices, in addition to home computers and TiVo boxes.

As part of this offering, Virgin Media customers will be able to stream or download Spotify music through their Virgin Mobile and without using any of their mobile data allowance.

New customers or VM users renewing their contract will be able to gain access to the Premium Spotify free for half a year – with a saving of nearly £60, where broadband users taking a new pay monthly Virgin Mobile contract will get a three month Spotify Premium subscription.

Virgin Media will be revealing a range of additional offers bundling Spotify with its services, in due course.
