HTC Rezound To Debut On Verizon Wireless

US mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is set to launch its fastest handset yet, the HTC Rezound (or the HTC Vigor), which is an upgraded version of the HTC Sensation XE, complete with the signature red Beats Audio earphones.

Details have emerged courtesy of Techcrunch (opens in new tab), and the smartphone will apparently come with a dual core SoC clocked at 1.5GHz (a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8260 model we presume), 1GB RAM, a whopping 16GB onboard storage, HTC Sense 3.0, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, free 5GB Dropbox account, a front facing two-megapixel camera, and a 4.3-inch 1280x800 pixel HD Ready display.

One can also expect the Rezound to have an eight megapixel camera with full HD video recording capabilities, the same red colour scheme as the Sensation XL, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. The smartphone is expected to be launched on the 14th of November on Verizon Wireless.

We're not sure whether the handset - which will be the top of the range handset from HTC - will be available in the UK and if so at what price.

There's also a video showing the unboxing of a pre-production version of the HTC Rezound.
