383,000 Copies of Steve Jobs Biography Sold in US During First Week

During the first week of its release, the biography of late Steve Jobs crossed a quarter of a million copies in United States itself. This shows the enthusiasm of readers to know about the story behind the "i" man.

In between 24th and 30th October 383,000 copies of Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs biography were sold, reported Nielsen BookScan. According to reports published in The Guardian, in UK 37,000 copies of the book were sold.

Currently, it is the bestselling book on Amazon and on Barnes & Noble it is on number three position.

This biography of Steve Jobs was supposed to be released on 21st November but after the sudden demise of Steve Jobs on October 5th the publishers Simon and Schuster decided to release the book before its release date.

Before release multiple excerpts from this book were leaked on the Web. Also the writer of the book Isaacson made an appearance on "60 minutes" and revealed his experience with Jobs, which he gathered with over 40 interviews with him.
