HTC Sensation XL now available for delivery SIM free and unlocked for £486

On-line mobile phone seller Clove has now taken delivery of the cobranded HTC and Dr Dre Beats Sensation XL mobile phone, which is purchasable without an accompanying contract and to be used on any network.

The HTC Sensation XL is the second handset to feature Dr Dre Beats functionality and headphones, since the partnership with the music company was announced in August – with the Sensation XE being the first phone.

HTC’s Sensation XL arrives with a 4.7-inch screen, with a 1.5GHz processor, an 8 megapixel camera and 16GB of internal storage.

These handsets are bundled with a set of Beats headphones, which when used with the device automatically switches over to a bespoke audio profile for studio quality sound.

One Mobile Ring recently ran a comparison between the two new HTC Dr Dre Beats Sensational XE and XL here, which notes which one has expandable memory, a dual core CPU and in-ear Beats headphones.

OMR also attended the launch even for the Sensation XL, where we published a hands on walk through in pictures here and a video walkthrough here.
