Motorola Razr, the world’s thinnest phone, faces delays

On-line mobile phone retailer Clove has released news that the Motorola Razr is delayed, where the phone that was due to go on sale on Tuesday won’t be arriving until sometime next week.

Clove made public this information in a blog post on their website, with a message that reads – ‘This delay is quite common with brand new devices but we would have liked it if it had arrived as originally planned. Needless to say if you have an order with us, we will ship it as soon as we can. If you do not, we will let you know when it arrives into stock.’

Motorola’s Razr was announced mid-October and as the world’s thinnest mobile phone, with a thickness of 7.1mm and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display.

Clove opened up the pre-ordering of the Razr shortly afterwards, with a cost attached of £454.80 and an arrival date of November 1st – which has now moved.

One Mobile Ring caught up with Motorola last week at a press briefing for the Razr phone, where we published and exhaustive set of hands-on images of the mobile, its applications and OS – along with capturing a video walkthrough here.
