BlackBerry Messenger Music sharing application now available from BlackBerry World

Canadian email phone manufacturer Research In Motion has made available the BBM Music app, for Canada, the United States and Australia with more regions launching soon.

The BlackBerry messenger music application was first unveiled in August as a closed beta, which has now moved out of the trial stage for to download and use.

BBM Music is a BlackBerry messenger connected social music service, which allows BBM and BlackBerry smartphone owners to discover, play and grow their music collections together.

BBM Music requires a premium subscription of $4.99 with a two month free trial for accessing millions of tracks, where 50 songs can be chosen each month and downloaded to a BlackBerry handset.

It is possible to share 10 of those tracks with BBM contacts, where they can share their music with you and others - with the more contacts sharing equals more music.

As an example, if you have 10 BBM friends with BBM Music subscriptions and each have 50 songs in their music profiles – from those friends alone, plus the 50 songs downloaded to start the profile, you could have 550 songs, on your BlackBerry.
